XLPE Insulation3 Core Cable Construction
The main components of our 3 core XLPE insulated power cable is 3 conductors, insulation layer, binding tape and outer sheath layer. Our 3 core XLPE cable may also conductor screen, insulation screen, metallic screen and armor for different purposes.
- Conductor: aluminum conductor and copper conductor.
- Conductor Screen: semi-conductive layer extruded over the cable conductor.
- Insulation: XLPE (Cross-linked polyethylene) insulation. Rated at 90℃.
- Insulation Screen: Semi-conductive layer extruded directly over the insulation layer.
- Metallic Screen: To prevent electromagnetic interference
- Armor: To protect the cable from mechanical damage.
- Outer Sheath: The protection layer against moisture, oil, water, UV radiation.

SWA ( steel wire armor ) XLPE insulation 3 core cable can be directly buried without the cable pipes, cable tubes. They are highly resistant to mechanical damage and ideal for harsh usages.
DSTA Armored XLPE Insulated Cable 3 Core
Our double steel tape armor XLPE insulated 3 core cable is suitable for direct burial and withstand impact, crush. It is easy to install the double steel tape armored 3 core XLPE cable.
